Overview of Services

The purpose of the UNC Human Pluripotent Cell Core Facility is to advance the frontiers of pluripotent stem cell research by providing comprehensive services and support for basic and translational studies.

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive iPSC-based platform integrating cell reprogramming, genome engineering, and advanced differentiation technologies to support innovative research and translational discovery. By enabling the generation of patient-specific cellular models, we advance regenerative medicine, disease modeling, and therapeutic development.

As a comprehensive resource center, we offer high-quality cell products and customized workflows that support innovative and translational research. By combining technical expertise with robust quality standards, we facilitate discoveries that drive therapeutic progress.
