CGIBD- Histology

The CGIBD Histology Core provides a full range of histology services:

  • Routine and specialized grossing
  • Tissue processing
  • Paraffin embedding
  • Standard and Custom Sectioning
  • Discounted rates for additional sections per block to support robust sample collection.
  • High throughput H&E staining
  • Special stains including PAS, AB-PAS, Masson's Trichrome, Sirius Red, and Saf-0/Fast Green.  Please inquire for additional stains.
  • Digital Slide Scanning (on the Hooker Imaging Center's VS200)
  • Large-Format/Mega Block Services for oversized specimens.
